Guided by a deep sense of service and a commitment to uplifting communities to create lasting & positive change, Hemant Bhasin contributed $250,000 to the Rotary Foundation. In recognition of his generosity, he was inducted into Rotary's prestigious Arch Klumph Society (AKS).

Skill Development Center

(Launched During Hemant’s Presidency)

  • Fundraising & Sustainability: Funds raised through club fundraisers and a global grant secured the project’s capex and opex for the first 10 years. Future fundraisers will make it self-sustaining till perpetuity.

  • Partnership with Delhi Government: Free space was provided, reducing costs and boosting efficiency.

  • National Alignment: In line with the Government’s Skill India Mission, the center offers free training in five key areas: CNC operation, F&B, SMO, GDA,and AC/Refrigeration Repair.

  • Impact: Over 1,800 individuals trained since 2019, with a 100% job placement offered.

Southend Akshi Center

(Hemant was a Major Donor for the Project)

  • Launched in partnership with Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital, the center aims to eradicate avoidable blindness by providing free, comprehensive, stateof-the-art eye care to underprivileged communities.

  • Delivered more than 19,592 free eye treatments and tests since July 2024, focusing on ophthalmic care for underprivileged patients.

Spearheaded Project to Donate 8 Ambulances to Govt of Goa

  • In response to an urgent appeal from the Goa Govt. during the COVID-19 crisis,Hemant pledged and delivered 8 ambulances in 45 days, strengthening the region’s healthcare infrastructure when needed most

  • He personally donated 3 ambulances and raising funds for 5 more.

COVID-19 Relief

  • As President during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hemant led vital initiatives to support communities and strengthen healthcare infrastructure:

  • Service and Relief Work: He facilitated the distribution of essential supplies like PPE kits, masks, and food totalling over ₹63 lakh

  • Fellowship and Engagement: Hemant organized virtual fellowship events every week on varied subjects, including speaker sessions and discussions, keeping members active and engaged during the lockdown.
